Flat Pet.

I just ordered this cute birdcage-vinyl sticker from ChuckEBryd. They sell a lot more lovely wall-art stickers! I'm looking forrward to receiving my little flat pet-bird.

Levi's Commercial

I remember seeing this commercial for the first time being very impressed. Now, after several years, I still am! Especially by the ending of the commercial where the boy and girl jump into space. The combination with the incredible music gives me goosebumps. Beautiful and very well thought of.

Trip to Italy

I just came back from a trip to Italy ( Bologna (nice but a lot of getting lost) - Rimini (awful!) - Fiorenzuola (beautiful!) - Ravanna (cute) - Pistoia (ok) - Florence (love). That's why I haven't posted anything in a while. At the moment I am very busy with a film-project for which I am the Production Designer. A lot of work but I really love it. I've got this list with strange things I have to take care of, preferably for free so that's a nice challenge.

I wanted to share with you a few photos from Italy (or rather, what things I saw in Italy!)

A strange combination of dogs but they really look like a group of nice friends. The little caramel-coloured one in front looks quite bossy and the one on the right standing thinks he's so cool (and he is!).

Make this my birthday-present (from you for me) and I'll love you forever. The pink is so pink!

I got a bit bored waiting at the airport so I started drawing. I started very small and it got bigger and bigger. (And my friend told me to draw a dog peeing! ).

Not Stanley's Knife

Alexander Hulme

A normal day

Artist Alexander Hulme made a study out of all the things he uses in the course of a normal day. Another example that proves that every-day-objects can be so inspiring! Even when they're not photographed in an artistic, special way. Which I like in this case because it's documentary. Just everyday-objects. Just interesting.

Let's go fly a kite

This is the result of an assignment I did last year at my school ( the Dutch Film & Television Academy). We had to design a building for a sort of island near the Central Station in Amsterdam. I made a large teahouse in a wall inspired by the Japanese art of kirigami, the little buildings are also teahouses where people can enjoy their cup of tea in a smaller environment. The wall is placed in front of two large fields designed for flying kites! The large field is for the adults, the tinier is for children. Of course I couldn't design a kite-flying-island without windmills and colourful flags.

VISION - Lace Up Canvas Shoe

How cute are these lace-ups! Seen on topshop.com. I really like that they've added some colour to this classic model. Yes, I'm thinking of buying them ( when I get back from Italy of course! But I must admit, I haven't kept my promise. I bought a T-shirt at Zara this saturday. But it was only €5,00 - and very artistic-looking! )
